Certification Process
During the cargo certification process, products are thoroughly inspected by customs officers and independent laboratories. This process includes:

- Issuance of certificates and permissions for import or export
Types of Certificates and Standards
Customs Union Technical Regulation System: This system is used to assess the quality of a wide range of products, including industrial and household goods, food products, children’s items, light industry goods, fuel, and protective equipment. This certificate allows transportation between member countries of the Customs Union and is valid for five years.
GOST-R System: This certification type is used for goods not covered by the Customs Union technical regulation. Products are evaluated according to Russian state standards, and a certificate valid for three years is issued. This document is only applicable within Russia.
SBCTS System: This system inspects automobiles and other wheeled vehicles, verifying compliance with all safety standards, environmental safety, and proper structural assembly. Based on this inspection, a permit for export or import to Customs Union countries is issued.
